Portal of Paraná Banco S/A (“PB”), a financial institution registered with CNPJ under No. 14.388.334/ 0001-99, registered office at Rua Comendador Araújo, 614, Batel, Curitiba, State of Paraná.

This document will be available for consultation by all Users, at any time, at www.paranabanco.com.br.

1. Previous Reading and Access

In order to use the Meios PB, we recommend that the User carefully read all the content contained in this document, so that he can understand the purposes associated to the collection and use of their information considered as personal, that is, capable of identifying them directly or indirectly.

By continuing to interact with Meios PB, you expressly agree to the terms of this Policy.

2. Privacy Policy

      a) Information Collected

PB may collect the information actively entered by you, the “User”, at the time of contact or registration (by completing the contact form or by the online broker), enriching your data through registration bureaus and/or through queries in other public and/or private sources of data and, also, automatically collecting information from you when using our services, such as, for example, data linked to your connection, such as: IP address, date, time, device used, consumption data and usage habits, among other information.

Thus, three types of personal data: (i) those provided by the User himself; (ii) those collected automatically by PB; and (iii) those collected from Bureaus and other sources.

(i) Personal data provided by the User: PB collects all personal data entered, informed and/or actively forwarded by the User when accessing Meios PB.

The User declares to know and accept that PB may request their access data from their Employer/Bound Entity to view their registration data, data from existing and/or closed credit transactions (Payroll-Deductible Loan Record). The access data provided by the User will not be stored by PB, nor used in other opportunities.

Regardless of which personal data the User actively provides to PB, we will only use those that are effectively relevant and necessary to achieve the stated purposes on a case-by-case basis;

(ii)Data collected automatically: PB collects a series of information automatically, such as: characteristics of the access device, browser, IP (with date and time), IP origin, information on clicks, pages accessed, search terms entered on our portals, among others. For this collection, PB will use some standard technologies, such as cookies, pixel, tags, beacons and local shared objects, which are used to improve your browsing experience on our services, according to your habits and your preferences; and

(iii) Data collected from Bureaus and other sources:  PB also collects/enriches/confirms the User’s personal data from registration bureaus and/or other private and/or public sources.

PB does not handle, for the general purposes set forth herein, data defined as sensitive by Law No. 13,709/2018, understood as those related to racial or ethnic origin, religious conviction, political opinion, union affiliation or organization of a religious, philosophical nature or political nature, data referring to health or sex life, genetic or biometric data, nor data related to children, thus considering individuals under 12 years old, being certain that, in the remote event that it is necessary to process this information, we will ask for specific and outstanding consent of the User, or we will conduct the processing of this information based on the other authorizing hypotheses brought by Federal Law No. 13,709/2018 registering said justification.

      b) Use and Processing of Data

The personal data processed by PB have as main purposes the possibility for the User to know the offer of products and services of PB, simulate and contract credit transactions, open Accounts, as well as consult and provide information via service channels.

PB may use your information in other services provided directly by PB, respecting the purposes set out to you and the authorization you previously granted us, when there is a legal requirement to collect it.

PB, in some cases, may also process personal data when necessary for the fulfillment of a legal or regulatory obligation or the regular exercise of rights in judicial, administrative or arbitration proceedings.

In addition, PB may also process personal data based on its legitimate interest, always within the limits of its expectation, and never to the detriment of its interests, rights and fundamental freedoms.

Additionally, the information collected may be used for advertising purposes, such as sending marketing emails to the User.

If you feel uncomfortable and no longer wish to receive any advertising information from PB, you may, at any time, contact us using the form available at https://www.paranabanco.com.br/privacidade/requisicao-privacidade expressing your opposition.

Before PB contacts you, User, via email, SMS and WhatsApp with promotional content from PB and its partners, we will collect your authorization or provide tools aimed at interrupting said receipt.

PB points out that contact with the User via WhatsApp may also have the purpose of monitoring status, requesting information and sending documents related to credit transactions.

     c) Use of Cookies

Cookies are files or information that may be stored on your devices when you visit PB websites or use online services. Generally, a cookie contains the name of the website that originated it, its lifetime and a value, which is randomly generated.

PB uses cookies to facilitate the use and better adapt its website and applications to the interests and needs of its Users, as well as to assist and improve its structures and content. Cookies may also be used to speed up your future activities and experiences on our services. PB uses several types of cookies on its website Page. In order for the User to know a little more about the types of cookies and their uses, we have prepared the table below:

For the management of cookies, PB will ask the User, upon first access to the Page, for their authorization and will allow the necessary adjustments through the preferences center.

In this sense, PB emphasizes that the acceptance of cookies classified as necessary are essential for the normal functioning of this Page, and opposition to the use of this tool may lead to the direct and immediate disuse of the services available on the Page.

     d) Information Sharing

PB may share the data collected through Meios PB, observing all the provisions of this document and the user’s bank secrecy, in the cases indicated below:

• when necessary for PB‘s commercial activities and services directed to the User, such as, for example, with partners or contractors;
• to protect PB‘s interests in any type of conflict, including lawsuits and administrative proceedings;
• to enrich/confirm personal data informed by Users, in registration bureaus and/or other public and/or private sources;
• in the case of transactions and corporate changes involving PB, in which case the transfer of information will be necessary for the continuity of services and delivery of products; or
• by court order or by the request of administrative authorities that have legal competence for its request.

Additionally, it is possible that some of the transfers indicated above take place outside Brazilian territory. PB undertakes to do so only for countries that provide a degree of protection to your personal data, considered adequate to the provisions of the applicable legislation; or through the adoption of guarantees and safeguards such as specific sections, standard clauses, binding corporate rules, among others; as well as through the prior collection of your specific consent or the observance of the other hypotheses authorized by law.

     e) Security Measures

Any information provided by the User will be collected and stored in accordance with the strictest security standards.

To this end, the PB adopts several precautions, in compliance with the guidelines on safety standards established in the applicable laws and regulations, such as:

• The use of the latest methods and equipment available on the market to encrypt and anonymize your personal data, when necessary;
• Protection against unauthorized access to your systems; and
• The authorization of access to specific people to the place where their personal information is stored, provided that this access is essential to the development of the intended activity.

In addition to technical efforts, PB also adopts institutional measures aimed at protecting personal data, so that it maintains a privacy governance program applied to its activities and governance structure, which is constantly updated.

Although PB uses its best efforts to preserve your privacy and protect your personal data, no transmission of information is completely secure, so PB cannot fully guarantee that all information it receives and/or sends will not be target of unauthorized access perpetrated through methods developed to improperly obtain information, such as technical failures, viruses or invasions of the Site database. In any case, in the remote event of incidents of this nature, the PB guarantees a full effort to remedy the consequences of the event

     f) Data Storage

In order to protect the privacy of its Users, the personal data processed by PB will be automatically deleted when they are no longer useful for the purposes for which they were collected, or when the User requests their exclusion, except if the maintenance of the data is expressly authorized by applicable law or regulation.

User information may be retained for compliance with legal or regulatory obligations, transfer to a third party – provided that the data processing requirements are respected – and exclusive use of PB, including for the exercise of their rights in judicial or administrative proceedings.

     g) User Rights

In compliance with the applicable regulations, with regard to the processing of personal data, PB respects and guarantees the User the possibility of submitting requests based on the following rights:

• Confirmation of the existence of the Processing;
• Access to data;
• Correction of incomplete, inaccurate or outdated data;
• Anonymization, blocking or deletion of unnecessary or excessive data, or of data processed in disagreement with the Law;
• Data portability to another service or product vendor, upon express request by the User;
• Exclusion of data processed with the User’s consent, as of its revocation;
• Obtaining information about the public or private entities with which PB shared its data;
• Information about the possibility that the User does not provide consent, as well as being informed about the consequences in case of refusal.

Part of the rights set out above may be exercised directly by the User, based on the management of registration information, while another part will depend on sending a request to our Privacy Department / Data Protection Data Protection Officer, for further evaluation and adoption of the necessary measures. PB will make every reasonable effort to respond to requests made by Users in the shortest possible time. However, justifiable factors, such as the complexity of the requested action, may delay or prevent its prompt service, being certain that, in case of delay, PB will present the User with the due reasons.

Finally, the User must be aware that their request may be legally rejected, either for formal reasons (such as their inability to prove their identity) or legal (such as the request for deletion of data whose maintenance is based on a purpose /legal basis by PB), it being certain that, in the event of impossibility of meeting these requests, PB will present the User with reasonable justifications.

3. Duration and Termination

The Meios PB are made available to the User for an indefinite period, and may be terminated by PB at any time, at its sole discretion, regardless of prior notice to the User, without any compensation being due to the User as a result of such cancellation.

The closure of any of the Meios PB, however, will not result in the end of the provision of services by PB, and the User may carry out and monitor its loans through the other means available.

Moreover, in case of suspicion of improper conduct by the User, their access to any of the Meios PB may be blocked by the PB, without prejudice to the adoption, by the Bank, of other applicable extrajudicial and judicial measures.

4. General Conditions

All notifications and communications by the User to PB are considered valid, for all purposes, when they are sent to the Customer Service Center (NAC), Official Channels and other contacts made available by PB. Correspondingly, all notifications and communications by PB to the User will be considered fully effective, for all purposes, when they are carried out through any contact information indicated by the User.

The User is aware that this Policy can be changed at any time, except in case of legal prohibition in this regard, recognizing, therefore, its full responsibility to check it periodically.

Any section or condition of this Policy that, for any reason, may be considered null or ineffective by any court or tribunal, will not affect the validity of the other conditions established herein.

PB‘s failure to enforce any rights or provisions of this Policy will not constitute a waiver, and PB may regularly exercise its right, within the legal terms.

Jurisdiction

The Forum of the Judicial District of the City of Curitiba, Paraná, is elected for the judgment of any questions or disputes arising from these Terms, waiving the parties to any other, however privileged it may be.
